@jpope Looked into doing an Arch chroot on the device? I understand several of the major tablets have suitable HOWTOs these days. :)

@jpope Most seem to be Ubuntu chroots, but I’d bet the few Arch ones out there could have their tarballs co-opted for your device.

I just got it set up that I can connect to my #emacs over #ssh using #cygwin and X11 forwarding. Now I don't need to reboot to work.

Have discovered !emacs dirtree mode which is making me a much happier user.

@dubfish I don't use it i day to day work (ido is way faster), but I'll use it instead of eclipse for code demonstrations in the future.

@dubfish yw. Btw. you have to add (setq tree-widget-image-enable nil) to your .emacs or you get IMO crappy Windows 3.11 style icons.
