http://onesocialweb.org/ - Initial source code for federated (meaning between domains) real time, social networking. Pretty awesome! !XMPP

Wondering if there is a way to associate 2 identities on different domains w/in !XMPP? I.e. person 1on gmail is the same as 2 on facebook?

Favorite two things about identi.ca - post from XMPP client and the "in context" button for replies. Federating microblogging is also cool.

Ohh, and the cross-posting works, so if post to identi.ca it updates twitter too. Very handy.

Trying out identi.ca - and its ability to post via XMPP IM client. So far seems like nerdier twitter.

This feels like the super-nerdy version of twitter. I like it!
