Why don't gamers crack down on immature activity in FPS's and the like? Why is profanity-laced screaming shrugged off?

Trying out WriteRoom - http://hogbaysoftware.com/products/writeroom - full-screen text editing for the Mac. Excellent design.

It takes me two hours a day to process emails and forums. And it's volume; I spent little time on each. This must change.

Seriously, in two episodes of Ga Rei -Zero-, half a dozen main good guys have died. New ones appear, and THEY die. Cast and crew have guts.
-
Ga Rei -Zero- has a standard horror show premise of humans with weird powers fighting spirits. Innovation: very high death toll of humans.

And there's another 1,000 words of Giant Armors book 1, draft 3 written. Shortened up the training sequence, as a tweeter suggested. Thanks!

Trying out OpenOffice.org (versus NeoOffice). OpenOffice seems faster on startup and saving, but slower when typing or scrolling.

Developing a D&D 4th Edition antagonist one-sheet. Create a high-level bad guy on-the-fly, during a game.

Ugh. Got almost no sleep last night. Quite a bit on the docket today, too. Well, nothing for it but to roll up my sleeves and get busy.

In other news, just re-watched Tenchi Muyo In Love, with some kids. They (and I) loved it. Red Fudo!
