      @sredna fontconfig is correct. font styles do apply if i run gnome-settings-daemon. but i dont want to run that :( fonts work only on gnome.

      @kete tried that, checked fontconfig. tried .gtkrc-2.0 checking if all alright. checked settings.ini in gtk3 config folder.tried tweak-tool

      @mgoku I could not replicate it at all. Anyway, It was already solved. Patch by Updating your system should solve for you easily.
