Hah, it was a bug, not a feature. You couldn't switch between tabs.

Mm, gnome shell is pretty nice but I found it a bit slow to move between windows. With unity, I can use compiz scale + expo which is perfect

Yeah, I miss it too but I think I used compiz scale more than the taskbar anyway. I just liked gnome-panel's customizability.

@benevolent97 It has been fixed apparently. I was using it off the 11.10 live cd so that was a bit out of date. (via @lukibeni)

I'm using startup disk creator at the moment, it has always worked for me on usb sticks but I only have a card reader here.

Hmph, seems like I can't install !ubuntu by running it off my hard drive as ubiquity complains. Trying to use a usb card reader instead

Its not really a feature, more like a bug because the tabs are half hidden under the unity panel :S

Reinstalling !ubuntu cos several upgrades have made my install a bit of a mess.

@cwebber Motion tracking or blender? Blender's pretty easy to start but you definitely need to look at a few tutorials to get good
