    @emrecio I have been using the kopete for close to 3 years now.what I like about it is kde integration. but its a bit dated but basics works

    @emrecio I've just switched from #Kopete to #Pidgin. You can automatically join MUCs on login in Pidgin, while you can't in Kopete AFAIK.

    @emrecio am not sure of the Sametime plugin, Kopete is not actively developed AFAIK. Telepathy not ready to use as I see it

    @emrecio honestly I wouldn't. Kopete, while nice, is (almost) unmaintained and can be quite buggy.
