Why is identi.ca not one of the services that HootSuite supports? Isn't it API compatible with Twitter, aka trivial to implement?

Yes, the IM did work. Although one send it didn't give an feedback that it did in the IM window like FriendFeed does.

@dustin if the idea is to do any tracking beyond the really trivial, something should happen. Otherwise managing these is a part-time job.

@dustin So if I want to track podcast, podcasts, podcasting, podcaster podcasters, I need 5 individual tracks?

@dustin You don't have to stem per se, but matching the substrings would be helpful. Can you track on RegExes or with * operators or such?

that kind of sucks, only the exact work matches for the track. so you have to track singular, plural, gerunds if you want the whole picture.

So I guess the big question is how big can identispy scale before it gets to bog down? Tracking 1149 topics for 159 users isn't that much.
