@bleakgadfly I already got it running on a 2006 one. At the beginning using madwifi and then the kernel ones. No problem whatsoever.

is booting with the minimal !gentoo amd64 CD on a MacBook and end up with no keyboard (when it worked with the x86 one). Any clues??
