     @dickturpin Yeah, the s just means get rid of the dependancies as well. I'm assuming the c just does -Sc after the -Rs...maybe.

     @dickturpin I have similar problems on my EeePC with Arch. After 5 minutes the WiFi drops out then reconnects.

    Installing !archlinux on my wspc, faffed around with fixed IP but reverted back to dhcp as fixed IP needs extra config for pacman. !archuk

    Doing rankmirrors -n 10 mirrorlist.backup > mirrorlist on the lappy !archlinux !archuk installed vim, need to do some cleaning up.

      @dickturpin this is probably because you are actually using original vi, most modern distros ship with vim and have it symlinked
