NuTyX !GNU !Linux is based on !lfs, borrows the package manager from Crux and is rolling release!!! Very interesting... Gotta try!

Working from a fresh i386 install of Debian Squeeze. This will be the base for a new !LFS 6.8 install.

I'm fed up with rebuilding packages only to add missed options to a soft. I think to build my own !lfs NOW (with or without X)

Going to the trouble of putting Python 2 in /usr/lib and Python 3 in /usr/local/lib seems to have been a waste of time. !lfs

I did get Python 3.1.2 to compile on !LFS. Almost exactly like compiling 2.6.5, including the similar test failures.

Woo! Compiled curl, flac, libao and vorbis-tools. Now have a working ogg player. !lfs
