Is there a line command in !Linux equivalent to the middle mouse-click paste? Want to set up an alternative keyboard mapping in !Openbox.
about 5 months ago from pino-
@mo6020 Curious - what distro are you on? (I'm CrunchBang, i.e. Debian base.) Shift-Insert would be a good target for the keymapping, tho.
-
@alexs77 Copy buffer all but standardized as C-{X,C,V} except in terminal emulators where they have other meanings. Selection buffer varies.
-
@alexs77 Usually there is no keyboard shortcut for selection buffer at all, except in terminal emulators where it is usually shift-ins.

how to force !openbox to focus on a window on another desktop when clicking its tray icon... it spoils using chat apps..
-
@windigo yes, tint2 indeed
-
@tdi I was going to recommend trying different mouse actions (http://code.google.com/p/tint2/wiki/Configure#Mouse_action_on_task)...
-
@tdi ...but I re-read your question and I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for...

It's extremely hard in !Openbox to grab a window edge, especially using touchpad. Any way to make the "grab zone" a bit wider? !Linux
