Seems my Kunzru !book was completely covered on !OpenLibrary, so expanded Pahlaniuk's 'Pygmy' and Pamuk's 'The New Life' instead.
-
!Lazyweb #ProjectOfTheDay: Take out the book you are currently reading. Look it up on !OpenLibrary .org & fill out the missing details.
-
@mjjzf no missing details - it isn't there at all (as expected); I might have had time for missing details, not for adding a new book ;)
-
@marjoleink Fair enough. Recently, mine have been covered extremely well. OpenLibrary improving or just me going mainstream? Hmmm...

Read the !book Transmission by Hari Kunzru. Sort of like Slumdog Millionaire for hackers. Well-written. Now, to expand it on !OpenLibrary.

Going into #Pyroom to write my !OpenLibrary article. Presenting Pyroom: http://writtenandread.net/files/pyroom.ogg
-
@mjjzf It's the GNOME/Python bindings and a few other GNOME bits. I don't run (m)any Python and GNOME programs evidently!
-
@seawolf Only thing my #Pyroom !Slackbuild depended on was PyGTK and PyXDG, no Gnome stuff.
-
@mjjzf It's gtksourceview & libgnomecups/libgnomeprint(ui)22, but I imagine I could compile w/out printing as I don't have a printer!

Not sure about the !OpenLibrary license, which is public domain: openlibrary.org/about/license - maybe just my extensive !CC indoctrination.
