@parlementum i found this http://prosody-modules.googlecode.com/hg/mod_offline_email/mod_offline_email.lua but I am not sure if it is receiving, sending or both.

@whistlewright that !prosody mod is for forwarding offline xmpp msgs you receive to your email. Opposite of what we need.

!ejabberd support anonymous user and any !xmpp server can connect to conf room of other servers.
