@lumks you can use qdbusviewer to find out which items are causing it. Left pane is :1.1057 for example. Right pane is status notifier.
-
@nybill it mirrors google+. I find it hard to find updates. I show 3 updates, but yet I have search through conversations to find them.
-
@nybill I went old school too.
-
Is this related? If it is, maybe you can add your input and help get it solved. http://ur1.ca/57wb0

I had an issue where arch would not poweroff, it just went black. I removed plymouth from hooks and regenerated initrd image. Then it worked
-
@bdgraue Of course you can block them in Choqok. Click on their avatar and choose Actions->Block.

@jpwhiting you can check your autostart settings in ~/.config/autostart and ~/.kde4/Autostart. Maybe there is an entry for nm-applet
-
@jpwhiting make sure network-manager-applet is not installed. This is the gtk version. I do not have this installed.
-
@jpwhiting I use knetworkmanager and it works fine. Isn't nm-applet the gtk version?
-
@chimo yes, it works for me now. I did not have focus on the desktop.
-
@chimo did you do something to enable it? Are you on 4.7?
-
@kaz This makes your talk at oscon so much more pertinent. http://ur1.ca/4ulzi

@claudiom Does MetroPCS share Sprint's networks? I know the service is not available in my area.
-
@patdavila I was at our local county fair and saw some pretty cool robot/rc vehicles controlled via usb wifi/networking.
