@walkah Yeah, I guess I never really understood how that feature worked. Maybe it's Spotify's edge. I don't have much local music myself.

@zach interesting for me is - i have too much digital music for it to ever be local (except on my 1tb drive where it lives).

has anyone worked on implementing keyboard shortcuts for the !statusnet web ui?

@walkah I don't think so... our experience with accesskeys in MediaWiki has been mixed though, as it's hard to pick keys that don't conflict

@brionv yeah, i don't remember anything and couldn't find any reference. I'm thinking just the vi bindings that lots of sites use

@walkah that's probably easier to do actually. :) Capture bubbled-up keypress events and check individual chars, no modifier keys.

@walkah I've got that on an Ubuntu install w/ the gnome3-team PPA. Install was a bit painful; might want to try a straight Fedora instead.

@walkah unfortunately my MacbookPro 6,2 is still crashing every couple hours under Ubuntu too, which doesn't help. ;) Desktop's sturdier...
