@dbs except I'm not at Seneca@York...in fact that's the only campus library I haven't visited! But I'll give ya the marks ;-)
-
@dbs not York, Seneca College.
-
Have long should it take to adjust to new catalogue? It's taking me forever to adjust to the one here. So hard searching!
-
hmm. Lost my first customer, er, patron, of the semester. Resources do not automagically appear in 60 seconds
-
In related news - First shift on reference at new job! Annoyed that yesterday I bookmarked intranet on laptop but not Google bookmarks.
-
Forgot computers at reference desk don't have a lot of software on them. Means I can't work on updating slides.
-
One week from today I'll be starting a new job at a new library in a new city.
-
Submitted the marks for my three sections of the research skills 1 credit course. I ran into one of my students yesterday while walking Zeus
-
just spent several minutes looking for pile of assignments I misplaced, only to realize I had students submit via email
-
I'm really wearing this shirt (in red) today at work. I wonder if any of my students will get it? http://bit.ly/9dIOn6
-
How can I *not* buy a book titled "Ancient graffiti in context"? I was just thinking about this over weekend.
-
Oops. IE crashed while I was helping a patron. I forgot to log back into chat reference; missed at least 1 patron chat.
-
Deleting posts from identi.ca is a sure PITA. I've clicked delete (and "yes") three times for one & it won't go away!
-
ahhh. I just had 11 chat questions in 30 minutes. I think I lost a couple patrons :-(
-
Our library catalogue is down so I'm using WorldCat to see if we have certain titles (while checking assignments)
-
ahhh creepy. Some guy in library totally came up to my window and peered through the blinds. Didn't knock, just left.
-
Is there ever a good reason to force a browser to re-size? Who ever thought of that should be shaken til their head aches.

Learning disabilities do not make a person stupid. It just makes some forms of learning more difficult!
-
oh wow. comment on news article: "I don't know how people with learning disabilities can be admitted to University..they can't even spell"
-
Oh Noes! Halloween "has become dangerously paganized and heavily commercialized" http://t.co/eR43ePL
