Posting via Posty. This will update mutliple feeds (twitter/identica) however does not give me 1 public timeline. Frustrating!

OK, instead I am now in search of a Twhirl like application that supports Twitter/Identica, puts msgs from both in 1 timeline & updates both

OK posting worked, now I just need to receive Twitter updates via Twhirl through identi.ca. Nearly there.
