Hmm, seems something broke on my Seeks install when I rebooted last night. :/
-
Found the issue, was due to the recent pcre update. Already a bug report filed. https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/28422 !arch
-
Of course though, that bug report is closed but, it did help me fix my issue. ;)

@bkuhn not [m]any TLA with no name collision. enwp.org/SFM a good start. BTW, is it just me, or is "space" usually superfluous, maybe wrong?

@mattl, the page is locked an appears to be using an old version of my bio. I emailed you the new bio, after one false start email. :)

What is the hal package use for nowadays ? !archlinux
about 13 hours ago from Choqok-
@seawolf It just happen my boot was blocking at hal startup, but once deactivated and after a pacman -Qi hal, I couldn’t find a use for it
-
@seawolf usually you dont need anymore HAL (only probably for specials reasons :s or pkg from aur but that is specific).
-
@slubman but now boot normally with HAL deactivated? usually would be ok, only attention to put dbus in your daemon array manually

-
@sredna But now that you mention it I've had some issues in dragonplayer since I switched. Artefacts of old frames and such.
-
@sredna I've tried to open bangarang a couple of times, but I simply can't grasp the UI :-P
