@bkuhn on the 'increased billable hours' theory, I believe the additional work involved is done by secretaries - non-chargeable. YMMV

@bkuhn there is quite heavy use of letter attachments in my area - pros include formality + neater court bundles + multiple delivery methods

@shaunm I'm not sure, I think the market is large enough. Problem is that proprietary software is entrenched in the legal industry afaics
