@michaelsandahl oops gwibber didn't sent the message before my last. In it I said I knew 64bit wouldn't work and went straight to 32 bit #!
-
@michaelsandahl And by that I mean I went straight for the 32bit #! .
-
@mikehill I remember someone saying they tried Windows 7 64bit on their AA1 and it wouldn't work. I just went straight to the 32bit version

@michaelsandahl Actually I don't belive the Atom Diamondville chip is 64bit compatible
-
@michaelsandahl No I ran the 32bit version on the aa1. I am running 64bit #! on my laptop.
-
@michaelsandahl My AA1 is the 160GB version. I have tried a bunch of Linux variants on it. #! is by far my favorite.
-
@michaelsandahl Yes I did. I think mine had 3304 or something on it. I upgraded to 3308 and then 3309.
-
@michaelsandahl I installed the new acerhdf fan control kernel module also. If you do a #! install let me know and I can forward my tweaks
-
@michaelsandahl I am running whatever the stock kernel is with #!. I think the most important thing is BIOS 3309 for SD cards to work well
-
@michaelsandahl No real issues. I compiled new madwifi drivers. Tweaked X font settings, and a few other tweaks. SD cards work fine.
-
@michaelsandahl Michael. I am running #! on my AA1 and love it
-
What a fluff piece about Conficker on 60 Minutes tonight. The symantec demo was odd. Nice to see they used !ubuntu to run XP under VMWare
-
@mwhudson Has the patch worked well for you?
-
@magicfab Someone spun a fork off synergy and they look to be fixing multiple problems. Not sure why the patch wasn't implemented by Ubuntu
-
@magicfab Found patch listing on launchpad, and I also saw patch on the synergy forum. synergy has been stagnate since 2006.
-
@mwhudson Let me know if you have any problems with the patch, and how it works for you.
-
@mwhudson Took a few changes to the code besides the patch which was mainly due to the newer GCC 4.3
-
@mwhudson Michael, http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=490469&aid=2141567&group_id=59275 is the link to the patch I downloaded
-
@stebalien Have it built. So far no glitches
