Had problems with suspend and hibernate on my T61 when using Intrepid, but this is not the case with Jaunty.

Just upgraded to Jaunty Jackal. Looks quite nice and behaves a lot better than Intrepid Ibex.

Strange, the test was on Solaris, but when running on Linux, it shows an 18% decrease in execution time for the exception version.
