@bkuhn Ok. So If I understand correctly (L)GPL-2 requires altering notice during re-licensing which is problematic for linking.

@bkuhn I mean that I cannot see without carefull reading of license see what's wrong with LGPL-2 (not being a lawyer)

@bkuhn I haven't attended the talk - and I cannot see why would benefit me to relicense LGPL-2 → GPL-2||LGPL-3 except "eliminating LGPL-2"

@rahulsundaram I had very bad experience with !gwibber (it more often crash on startup then work) on !gentoo (over several major versions).
