!Kubuntu Oneiric is very good so far. Only problem is the bug in handling of AMD graphics driver, which requires editing grub conf to fix.

Just read speculations about Oracle buying HP's PC section. If this includes WebOS and Palm's patents than more trouble ahead for Android.

Thinking of the Android patent mess it is quite clear to me: if Linux gets higher marketshare for desktops patent trials will be legion.
