@hellocatfood over ssh, you can usually stick DISPLAY=:0 before the command in the terminal to make it use the remote display.

@hellocatfood should just be a matter of passing the right DISPLAY variable when you start the recording program, I'd have thought.

hmmm I'm still getting "the server returned an error" messages with !choqok OAuth, though it is working. Anyone else?

ah, so the new OAuth stuff in !choqok just needed a clean config to not mess up. Fixed now.
