The only real issue I see with that is support for URI templates. JSON-LD would work for user-meta, but not really the host-meta.
-
There's a JSON version of the XRD thing. http://hueniverse.com/2010/05/jrd-the-other-resource-descriptor/
-
Neat. But… does anyone use it? Checked a few sites, didn't see JSON representations available (e.g. added ?format=json to end of hosts-meta)

Not sure if i like that status.net has groups and tags as different features. When do i use which or do i have to use both?
about 13 days ago from mustard -
Just installed !statusnet and even though I had selected fancy urls durring install, I still had to manually enable it.
-
I found I had to edit the mysql record because it set my URI as /index.php? Still, easier to set up than 0.9.7 was.
-
did that require rebuilding the db or were you able to do that after subscribing to people?
-
You may have a bit of trouble with existing subscriptions, but seeing as they both work, it shouldn't be too big of a deal.
-
-
I don't seem to be receiving comments I make over Pubsub even though I'm subscribed. Is that by design, or a bug? !statusnet
-
the great thing about !statusnet is that it's technically asynchronous even if it's /possible/ to have near #realtime communication...
