I want to run !Ubuntu on a Samsung NC10 and use Starbucks wireless (which is free with a Starbucks card) I am in the UK. Is it that simple?

@mcastel: See http://is.gd/dLYlu if you are using php5. Do you mean simpler than that?

@mcastel: Use curl to get the rss feed. It is just XML and use xml2array (http://is.gd/dLWUy) or build in PHP functions if PHP5 to parse it.

@rxp: If you need more there is Apache Lucene and Zend do a library for that too for PHP.

@rxp: But Omega has a PHP interface and can output results in various formats incl. HTML.

@rxp: Also have a look at recoll/tracker/beagle as they have command line interfaces you can use as an interface.
