Awesomeness: #emacs 23 will have M-x butterfly, can view pdfs and has a daemon mode. The bad: transient-mark-mode is enabled by default. =(

Been using Mathematica, but Maxima + imaxima for !emacs just rocks...jump to_lisp() whenever I want, and back with (to-maxima). Awesome!
