@tlaukkanen nice to hear that, would be great to have one that supports any server since I think the only other Java one doesn't either

@tlaukkanen does it only work with identi.ca or are other Laconica instances supported?

@macc yeah, http://code.google.com/p/jaikuengine but does only run on Google's AppEngine so I understand it cannot be totally self-hosted.

@macc it's Google-bought microblogging service that started way back in 2006, same year as twitter and has been stagnating for a long time

!laconica Jaiku supporting OMB would really be a nice case for it. It's unclear to me if they are just leaving it up to the community?
