@trixtur Well, if you did play with the latest packages from KKFD you prolly won't feel the difference. Theoretically, it's more stable.

@trixtur: For me it's enough if I can easily export my data, *and* if the service's source is available so I can move to a new instance.

@trixtur: well, openssh was my first choice. i got a winxp box that i want ssh into on my lan here at home. don't want to use samba.

@trixtur: Went with CopSSH instead. Much closer now but my connection keeps closing.

@trixtur: yes, the makpasswd -l bit is where i'm stuck. nothing is being written into the /etc/passwd file. i'm sure it's a rookie mistake
