@finkregh TBH, if you really need to skin it, you can go the Diazo route today which removes much of the pain
-
@finkregh Providing you can use it out of the box it's a fine product. Major theming was an issue last time I tried.

Out goes SmoothTasks and in comes IconTasks- it can actually pin the tasks to the panel! :D !KDE !Chakra http://twitpic.com/6dlzuf

@sanskritfritz it's not like linux is swimming in good video / voip solutions atm

@counterfeeding might be a red hearing, but rebuiling using 2.32.1 versions would only involve 30 odd PKGBUILDS, could be scripted even
-
@counterfeeding have you tried gnome-desktop2, it still seems to be 2.32.1 (just found it in extra in abs)
-
@counterfeeding, I didn't mean to be insulting, and I'm sorry it came out that way

@counterfeeding sorry, just saw you were looking for gnome 2, but my other comments still hold (otherwise try yourght and aur)
-
@counterfeeding mabey arch isn't what you're looking for, no troll but mabey suse or ubuntu or... with ppas will meet your needs better
-
@counterfeeding , I don't know the exact state of gnome 3 in !archlinux, but, unfortunatly, if you don't want to get your hands dirty...
-
Congratulations to !gnome on 3.0. Note: it's a crying shame that !windows and !osx trolls can't stay under their respective bridges.
